COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT #CPAM06-LE-005 – DONALD R. THARPE AND TOLL BROTHERS
X LIMITED PARTNERSHIP (OWNERS)/DONALD R. THARPE (APPLICANT) – THARPE/MARSH ROAD
COMMERCIAL – Applicant wishes to obtain a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to
add approximately 12.9 acres to the Bealeton Service District with the planned
designation of Commercial Office. The property is located on the east side of
Marsh Road (Route 17) at its intersection with Old Marsh Road (Route 837), Lee
District. The Planning Commission recommended a designation of Commercial
Office/Mixed Use and a text amendment to the Comprehensive Plan requiring a

- A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO SECTION 12-13 OF THE CODE
OF FAUQUIER COUNTY TO REVISE CERTAIN BUSINESS, PROFESSIONAL AND OCCUPATION
LICENSE FEES
- A
public hearing to consider whether to amend Section 12-13 of the County Code to
impose a license fee of
$25.00 for
businesses whose gross receipts are $50,000 or less and $50.00 for businesses
whose gross receipts are $100,000 or less but greater than $50,000. This would
apply to all businesses that currently have no other fee charged.
Those
businesses classified as contractors earning $25,000 or less will be charged a
fee of $20.00. These fees would apply to licenses issue for the Calendar Year
2009 forward and are not refundable.

exemption to Didlake, Inc., a charitable organization. The assessed value of
the property is $774,700 and annual taxes are $5,926.46.
